P226...ESP?
Is a Sig P226 ESP or SSP? My local club said it's SSP but I though that would be for safe action or double...not DA/SA.

SSP is for safe action, traditional DA (DA/SA), or DA only Your Sig can be shot in either ESP or SSP.

Anything you can shoot in SSP you can shoot in ESP.I may be incorrect, but I believe if you shoot your P226 in ESP you will still need to start with it decocked since it does not have a safety.

SSP is the traditional home for DA pistols, whether DA only, DA/SA, or Safe Action(Glock). A few P226's have been made SA only, which would be ESP.
